Join in the World's Biggest Riding Lesson to Raise Funds for RDA

Published on Tuesday, September 20, 2011 in General

The RDA World's Biggest Riding Lesson unites horse lovers across the world to raise money for Riding for the Disabled Association, RDA Groups and therapeutic riding groups and will be held on Wednesday 28 September 2011.

The event has been organised by the UK Riding for Disabled but participants around the world can join in to benefit RDA Groups in their own countries.

Who can join in?

The fundraising event is open to anyone who rides (with access to a 20x40m arena) and we hope riding centres, groups of friends, equestrian organisations, experts and novices will all get involved.

The format of the lesson, which starts the same but can then be tailored to match rider ability, has been designed so that anyone can take part (and in previous years has even been completed on hobbyhorses!). Carriage driving and vaulting versions of the lesson are also available.

Put the fun into fundraising

The WBRL is all about raising money for RDA – and there are lots of ways you can help us to boost funds either for your local Group or for RDA National. If you are joining in outside the UK, you can raise money for your local theraputic riding centre.
