Melbourne EQUITANA 2012 Planning Underway!

The EQUITANA Australia team is hard at work preparing an exciting new program for the event's return to Melbourne on the 15–18 November this year, so make sure you put these dates are in your diary now!

 

EDUCATION PROGRAM APPLICATIONS NOW OPEN

The Education Program is a fundamental part of each EQUITANA event and one of the main reasons that attendees travel from far and wide, is to learn from and meet some of Australia’s and the world’s best trainers, vets and equine specialists.  EQUITANA Australia is looking for new educators and fresh and exciting topics to present to Australian and International attendees in its world class program of education. Applications are now open for the Education Program.

 

EQUITANA SUPPORTS 'HEADING NORTH 2012' HORSE TREK

EQUITANA Australia is proud to announce their sponsorship of Samuel Alexander on his epic horse ride from Healesville, Victoria to Cooktown, Queensland with his team of horses some of which were donated from Moorooluck Australian Stock Horse Stud, Victoria. Sam hopes to promote the importance of medical care in rural Australia, as well as stimulating much needed donations for the Royal Flying Doctors Service; both of which EQUITANA Australia support wholeheartedly. 

 

THE 2012 REINING YOUTH SERIES

EQUITANA Australia and Reining Australia are offering the young reiners of Australia a chance to participate in the Melbourne event. Four of the top scoring young reiners will be invited to EQUITANA Melbourne to take part in the reining competition program and be crowned Champion and Reserve Champion in their division. To be in the running to be named the EQUITANA YOUTH SERIES CHAMPION award, riders must compete in the series of competitions held throughout Australia including the 2012 Reining Australia Continental Affiliate Championships. There will be two divisions - Youth 14-18 & Youth 13 & Under.
