Mitavite Ultimate Masterclass: 2-4 November 2012

Mitavite Munga presents three days of educational training for the dressage horse and rider!

Steffen Peters, Olympic & WEG medalist and USEF Equestrian of the Year 2011, and Jonah Oliver MAAESS, MAPS, BSc(Hon), MPych, PhD(cand), a leading sports psychologist, are combining to present an inspiring new three day program that completely overhauls the master class concept.

Day One 6 horses and riders each present for individual training sessions with Steffen Peters. Combinations are 2 amateur riders, 2 professionals and 2 FEI combinations. All are aiming to finesse their understanding of training with, as Steffen Peters says, a fair and kind approach.

Day Two sees Jonah Oliver join Steffen for the sessions. They work together with the riders on preparing their mindsets to achieve the best outcome, whether from a daily training session or a competition.

Day three sees all 6 riders ride through a test, suitable for their competition level, and supported by Steffen and Jonah. The audience will be briefed with the highs and lows of the tests, with feedback from the riders themselves, and ways to help improve their performance.

Following on from each day’s program Steffen will ride through a training session of his own, giving personal insights into his training methods and techniques; will complete a session with Jonah on mentally preparing for a training session or competition on day two and, on the final day, ride his own test.

The Mitavite Ultimate Master Class will be held at the new, state of the art, Queensland State Equestrian Centre, Caboolture, Queensland, from Friday 2 November to Sunday 4 November 2012.

The Master Class is open to anyone interested in observing and learning from a true master of classical horsemanship and an exceptional sports psychologist, as they train horse and rider combinations from amateurs to top professionals. Seating will be available from a budget priced day pass to fully catered VIP arena side seating for all three days, with tickets are on sale now.

Themed “A Little Bit Vegas”, this promises to be a fabulous fun filled night of entertainment. All proceeds from the Charity Auction will be donated to a horse rescue charity dedicated to providing professional and intensive care for injured and traumatised horses while also creating a refuge for orphaned, abandoned, starved and unwanted animals.

Both Steffen Peters and Jonah Oliver will be attending the dinner and patrons will enjoy unprecedented access to both of them as they encourage dinners to bid on the auction

items. The Horseland Black Tie Dinner and Charity Auction will have very limited numbers and is expected to sell out fast when seats go on sale, so keep an eye out on our
