Miva Stud Auction and Charity Event

Jaytee Tajay will be offered for sale

Miva Stud, based in Gunalda, Queensland, are holding a Stud Clearance auction on Sunday 28 November from 10.00am at the Gunalda Recreation Grounds.

On the afternoon before the auction, Saturday 27 November, everyone is invited to view the horses for sale at the Gunalda Recreation Grounds, then a Pre-Auction and Charity Fundraiser Event is being held from 5.00pm. There is no charge for entry to the event and there will be a BBQ and bar in operation, as well as entertainment from live band “Danny and the Crew”, who will be playing from 6pm-11pm. Organisers suggest to BYO a chair and advise that there is room to camp overnight.

All profits from the bar, BBQ and other fundraising activities will be donated to the Charity SCIC (Supporting Chemotherapy in Cooloola), a group of volunteers formed in 2005 who offer immense support to cancer patients and their families.

Throughout Saturday night’s event, there will be raffles, with prizes including a halter and lead rope from Horseland, Forest Glen; 5 bags of feed from Mi-Feed; Emma Paige jewellery pendant from Nikki Walker; Halter from Horse and Rider; Rug from Heather Park Equestrian; and rug, feed scoop, magic block and brush from Mooloo Mountain Produce. Organisers are very grateful to the sponsors and thank them for the items donated as prizes.

At the auction on Sunday, Miva Stud offers for sale over 25 good quality registered young horses and educated riding stock, with proven performance records. Most of the horses are registered with their respective Breed Societies, including Arabians, Quarter Horses and Australian Stockhorses, as well as Buckskins and Palominos. A variety of saddlery, horse equipment and an Extended “Kara Kara” Double Float will also be offered on the day.
