ABOUT THE SEMINAR
“I have put together a very special seminar where I will share with you lessons I have learned from a lifetime of training champion horses. Together, we will immerse ourselves in a journey aimed at establishing a lasting and valuable partnership with your horse. You will walk away knowing just how much more you can achieve with your horse and start putting this into practice.” Monty
Come along for a single day or spend the whole weekend.
DAY 1: LAYING THE FOUNDATIONS
Learn the foundations and key elements for establishing trust and respect with your horse. This seminar is about how to build the long term foundations, not quick fix solutions. No matter what your discipline, understanding this will dramatically change how your horse responds to you. A must for anyone wanting a strong relationship with horses.
DAY 2: UNDERSTANDING YOUR HORSE’S PSYCHOLOGY
Spend a day with Monty and learn why horses do what they do through amazing insights. You’ll be astonished as Monty puts this into action to solve the everyday problems you experience with your horse. See what the horse world has been talking about. A must for anyone with a problem horse.
WHAT WILL YOU SEE THAT’S NEW?
LOTS! In fact the majority of the two day seminar is new content that Monty will teach using both theory and demonstrations. Naturally, we are going to cover Join Up and the language of Equus, as they are foundations of Monty’s training, however with this seminar you will also get his training techniques focusing on the young horse in Day One and the adult horse in Day Two.
WHY TWO DAYS?
Two days allows Monty to go deep and really demonstrate how his philosophies work. Both Monty and his instructors will work with different kinds of horses (age, education, disciplines and breeds), giving you an understanding of how you can take his concepts home with you and apply them to your horse. The choice really is yours, you can attend on a single day focusing on a specific area that interests you – or spend the weekend allowing you to learn even more.
WHAT WILL I GET FROM ATTENDING?
Monty’s goal is to have you go home, totally invigorated and ready to start working with your horse in a way that is going to be positive to BOTH of you. He will also have copies of his text book ‘From My Hands To Yours’ available, so that you will have a reference for what you have learnt once you are at home, should you feel you need it.
CAN I BRING MY HORSE?
This is a two day seminar where Monty’s instructors will work with a variety of horses to demonstrate his concepts. There are no rider participation positions available. However we will be looking for horses to be involved in both seminars. Click here to find out how.
