More Hendra Information Sessions for Horse Owners

Biosecurity Queensland will be holding four more information sessions in south east Queensland to provide horse owners with details to help protect themselves and their animals against Hendra virus.
The information sessions will be held at:
- Friday, July 8, 6.30 – 8.30pm: Boonah Cultural Centre - 3 High Street, Boonah
- Saturday, July 9, 5 – 7pm: Kooralbyn Community Hall, Ogilvie Drive, Kooralbyn
- Tuesday, July 12 , 6.30pm – 8.30pm: CREEC Environment Centre, 150 Rowley Rd, Burpengary. Limited space - to confirm attendance call: 07 5433 2122
- Wednesday, July 27, 6.30pm – 8.30pm: Kumbartcho Sanctuary, 15 Bunya Pine Court, Eatons Hill. Limited space - to confirm attendance call: 07 5433 2122
Dr Rick Symons said that in addition, Biosecurity Queensland have two mobile offices which will be visiting local centres and major events over the coming days.
“People will be able to pick up comprehensive Hendra virus information packs from these mobile offices as well as having the opportunity to ask staff specific questions.”
