New Cross Country Courses for SIEC - Video

Sydney 2000 Olympic course designer Mike Etherington-Smith returned to Australia to upgrade the 3* course at the Sydney International Equestrian Centre for the 2012 Sydney Three Day Event. Mike is working closely with Australian course designer Ewan Kellet who is creating the 2* & 1* course and also with Brett Ryan who is building the new track. Vince Roche and Wayne Roycroft have already met with Dave Porter from SIEC to discuss the works required to upgrade the footing and excavate the new water jump, situated in a prime position for spectators. 

The new course will be unveiled at the Sydney International Three Day Event being held 27 - 29 April.  This event will be the final qualifier for the London Olympics for Australian and New Zealand based riders.
