New Venue for 2015 Queensland International Three Day Event
The 2015 Queensland International Three Day Event will be held at the Noosa Equestrian Centre, Tandur from 3 to 5 October.
This year the three-day event will be held in conjunction with the Queensland Eventing State Championships.
Queensland’s only international three-day event will be directed by former Queensland and Australian eventing champion Brett Cantle with support from equestrian doyen Wayne Roycroft.
Queensland International Three Day Event President Dr Cameron Osborne said the organising committee was honoured to welcome Brett as event director, and multiple Olympic medallist, coach, and Los Angeles team captain and flag bearer, Wayne Roycroft as the organisation’s Patron.
“We are excited and privileged to have Brett and Wayne on our team.
“We are also very excited to hold the 2015 event at the Noosa Equestrian Centre, a purpose-built privately owned facility,” he said.
“Consistent with our aims to develop an elite international competition in Queensland to provide local and interstate riders with the opportunity to excel and gain national and international recognition, we are also pleased to announced the cross country course will be designed by Wayne Copping.
“It is an honour to have such esteemed members of the equestrian community supporting the event.”
Dr Osborne said he was confident of producing a first class competition for riders and great entertainment for spectators.
The event will again feature the State of Origin challenge between Queensland and New South Wales teams, a dressage master class and a show jumping competition.
