Official launch of Sydney Horse: 22 March 2015

Published on Wednesday, March 11, 2015 in General

Sydney Horse is a new riding school that has recently opened at Centennial Parklands Equestrian Centre - they believe that working with horses is one of life's best experiences!

The aim of Sydney Horse is to teach people how to ride or look after horses, in ways that are both safe and fun. Whether you’re an adult or child, a beginner or more advanced, they can help you.

The Sydney Horse official launch (PARTY!) is being held on Sunday 22 March from 11am to 3pm.

The launch includes free activities for the whole family, as well as the opportunity to talk to their friendly and knowledgeable staff. The day’s events will be:

11am: Pilates for horse-riders demonstration, followed by free class available to members of the public (limited numbers)

12noon: Live Music performance (all horse-themed music). There will be a guessing game, with prizes for anyone who successfully identifies all the songs we play and sing.

1.15pm: Showjumping display by successful professional showjumper George Johnson, with commentary by NCAS Coach Educator Christine Johnson

2pm: Live Music performance (all horse-themed music). There will be a guessing game, with prizes for anyone who successfully identifies all the songs we play and sing.

Free face-painting will be available during the day.

There’ll be some small give-aways for kids, plus the opportunity to say hello to our horses and staff. Our gift shop will be open too, so you can buy some cute horse-themed things for the horse-mad person in your life.

Sydney Horse sourced several horses via HORSEZONE and have a lovely mix of really nice horses with a variety of breeds including Clydie crosses, Welsh Cob and Haflinger.
