Olympic Gold Medallist Stuart Tinney to Host Cross Country Course Walk

Dual Olympic Games medallist Stuart Tinney is offering a unique experience to all visitors to the 2017 Paul Pace Country National Eventing Championships, to be held at Camden Bicentennial Park on the weekend of 22-23 April 2017.

The Sydney gold medallist and Rio bronze medallist will host a cross country course walk on Saturday 22 April beginning at approximately 2:30pm and all equestrian enthusiasts are invited to attend this free and exclusive opportunity. 

With spectator entry to the Paul Pace Country National Eventing Championships also free, the event offers an outstanding chance for fans of the sport to learn from, hear and see some of Australia’s best and brightest Eventing stars. 

As well as winning two Olympic medals and representing Australia at three Olympic Games and four FEI World Equestrian Games, Tinney is a leading Eventing coach and FEI cross country course designer. 

Event Director Shane Rose has competed alongside and against Tinney and considers him one of the best in the business. He's encouraging all fans of the sport to come along. 

“Stuart Tinney is regarded as one of the world’s best cross country riders and his diverse skillset and years of experience makes him an authority figure on cross country riding," Rose said.  

“Stuart's cross country course walk at the 2017 Paul Pace Country National Eventing Championships is a unique opportunity for athletes competing at all levels of Eventing to get some tips, ask questions and gain a professional's insight into cross country riding,” he said. 

The Paul Pace Country National Eventing Championships are being held in conjunction with Eventing Equestriad, offering classes at CIC3*, CIC2*, CIC*, EvA105, EvA95, EvA80 and EvA60. Entry across the two-day competition is free for spectators.

Stuart Tinney’s guided course walk will leave from the front of the clubhouse at 2:30pm at Camden Bicentennial Park, Exeter St, Camden.
