Only Two Weeks Until Equitana!

It’s the final countdown! With just a few short weeks before EQUITANA the team are busy finalising and perfecting the last tweaks before this much anticipated extravaganza hits its’ Melbourne home. 
 

 Some final ticketing reminders because many phone calls are coming into the office:

- General Admission tickets are available for ALL days of the event, these can be pre-purchased (take advantage of metropolitan public transport travel), or you can purchase the tickets at the gate- just be warned the cues may be long.

- Super Tickets and All-Day Tickets must be pre-purchased to avoid dissapointment; Saturday All-Day passes are sold out but you can still see Charlotte (every day!) by purchasing a Super Ticket!

EQUITANA website is mobile optimised and the 64 page official program will be distributed over a number of publications across the country- more on this later in this newsletter.

Inaugural Supreme Products Saddlehorse Showmanship Challenge  

Entries are open for this new class, which will be conducted under a points system, with three judges allocating points for Showmanship (Leigh Taylor (NZ)), Performance, Paces and Suitability (Charlotte Dujardin (UK)) and Overall Presentation of Rider and Mount (Alex Berwick). Horse & Country TV is delighted to be associated with Equitana as Supporting Sponsor of The Way of the Horse. H&C TV is an award winning, international TV channel devoted to equestrian sports and lifestyle. Viewers can expect to see top international sport, documentories and behind the scenes shows with equestrian personalities.

 

Lockers and Luggage

Small lockers are available on site; great for leaving your shopping safe while you watch /shop some more! Charges are large lockers $12  and small lockers $8 plus a $2 key deposit. You will also be able to leave suitcases on the Sunday only for $5 each. There is nowhere on site for keeping suitcases on arrival so check into your  accommodation first.

 

Proteq Equine Bedding

Proteq Equine Bedding are looking forward to suppliying bedding for all horses at Equitana Melbourne! Proteq is a pure pine softwood sawdust that is super absorbent, hygienic and cost effective; a total of 3780 bags of bedding that will be used over the duration of the EQUITANA event. Equestrian Australia is proud to announce the high quality field that will contest the Exhibition Eventing Final held as part of the Equestrian Grand Final at the up and coming EQUITANA.
