Paint the Town!
Queensland Youth Competitors looking forward to Painting the Town in Tamworth with their beautiful Paint Horses (L-R) Brooke Duddy and Seekin Sunday; Laine Gillard and Unashamed; and Nicole Lindeberg and Rosewood Dark and Stormy. |
ALEAC at Tamworth will barely have time to recover from the NCHA Finals and Snaffle Bit Futurity, before it's taken over by a whole new set of horses - the best of the best of Australia's beautiful and colourful Paint Horses!
The 2011 PHAA National Paint Horse Championship Show is being held from 3 - 9 March 2011 and promises plenty of excitement and glamour as the country's top Paint Horses compete in events as diverse as hacking, dressage, showjumping, team penning, cutting, barrel racing and stake racing in addition to the more traditional western performance classes of halter, showmanship, hunter under saddle, hunt seat equitation, western pleasure, horsemanship and trail. There are plenty of events for everyone and classes that cater for Amateur and Youth competitors as well as the hotly contested open horse classes.
The most popular events for the show are the Halter classes, across all ages, followed by Western Pleasure.
The National Futurities will be held in conjunction with the National show which will ensure seven days of top quality showing.
So if you like your horse shows with plenty of bling, coupled with a wide variety of events, make your way to Tamworth next week and be immersed in the colourful world of Paint Horses!
