Pony Club NSW State One Day Event

The Pony Club NSW State One Day Event will be held this coming weekend at Harden Showgrounds, Harden from the 12-13th October 2013.

The State One Day Event is a competition that consists of three sections; dressage, showjumping and cross country jumping. It is designed to test the courage, determination and all round ability of the rider, as well as the training and conditioning of the horse.

Around ninety competitors have entered in the event. With fourty four competitors in the 12 to under 15 years, making this the largest age group. Thirty one competitors in the 15 to under 17 years, and seventeen in the 17 and under 25 years. 

The Championship will commence on Saturday 12th October from 8:30am and conclude on Sunday afternoon with the mounted presentation ceremony.

Competitors and their families will be travelling from pony clubs all across NSW and are expected to arrive on Friday to set up camp at the grounds for the weekend’s events.

 Harden Pony Club will be providing canteen facilities for the whole weekend, from Friday lunch time until Sunday afternoon.

Entry is free and spectators are most welcome to come along and watch some of the best youth equestrians in NSW competing for the pony club championship.

The next state event is the last Pony Club NSW State Championship for the year, the Bungendore Community Bank State Showriding Championship held at Bungendore on Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th December 2013.
