Royal Melbourne Horse Show

The Royal Agricultural Society of Victoria will present the 2011 Royal Melbourne Horse Show from 20 - 23 January 2011 at the Werribee Park, National Equestrian Centre.

 

The 2011 Royal Melbourne Horse Show includes 37 breed sections, Pony club, HRCAV and RDA Competitions.

 

New in 2011 is the Saddle Horse Championships with the top ten place getters earning qualification for the 2011 Royal Melbourne Show Horses in Action program.

 

Horsezone are proud to be one of the sponsors this prestigious show and encourage everyone who is not already competing (entries are now closed) to go along and watch four days of great showing!  If you get tired from watching the events, you can always visit the commercial exhibitor sites for some retail therapy.

There are two international judges including:

Kris McCall (Scotland)
Kris McCall is a panel judge for the British Show Pony Society, Ponies Association UK, Coloured Horse and Pony Society. He is a qualified HOYS and Royal International Qualifier judge with extensive international showing and judging experience. He is the first and still the only Scottish person to be awarded Gold Elite Rider status.

Claude Avent (NZ)
Claude Avent is a Royal Agricultural Society of New Zealand Grade 1 Tutor Judge who has judged at many Royal Shows, 2010 New Zealand Horse of the Year and Auckland Easter Show.
