SES Rescue Mare Stuck in Mud
Published on Thursday, October 20, 2011 in General
A Coffs Harbour mare, named Harriet, got into strife yesterday when she decided to take a short cut across a creek on a Bonville property.
The distressed horse became stuck in mud and weeds and couldn't get out on her own. Luckily the Coffs Harbour State Emergency Service crews, who had received training for such situations, came to her rescue and were able to pull Harriet out of the deep pond.
