Speakers Confirmed for EA Education Conference

An exciting list of guest speakers has been confirmed for the inaugural Equestrian Australia Education Conference to be held at Sydney Showground 6 - 7 August.
Conference delegates will hear dynamic and engaging speakers who will both entertain and educate. The line-up includes the world’s greatest Arial Skiier, Jackie Cooper, a veteran of 5 Olympic Games and winner of 5 world titles, 39 World Cup medals, 24 World Cup wins and 3 major World Championship medals.
One of the most respected and authoritative sporting minds in Australia, Wayne Goldsmith, will bring to the conference his wealth of experience and knowledge of high performance success. In a career spanning more than 20 years in sports administration Wayne’s high profile sporting clients include Tennis Australia, Swimming Australia, Triathlon Australia, the Australian Rugby League, the Australian Rugby Union / Wallabies and the Australian Sports Commission.
Avril Henry is one of Australia’s most accomplished, published and recognised corporate identities. She has been honoured in the 2009 and 2010 Australian Who’s Who of Women, as one of the most inspiring businesswomen and female leaders. Henry’s career has spanned senior roles in Finance, IT, Project Management, Change Management and HR across multiple industries and countries. Henry is a highly sought after speaker and motivator.
The Conference will also have speakers from Equestrian Australia who can provide insight into the key programs and initiatives being driven by the sport at a national level.

About the Education Conference: The EA Education Conference is open to anyone involved or associated in Equestrian pursuits. The aim is to provide an opportunity to enhance the personal and professional development of EA members and non-members alike. The conference will be offered every two years beginning in 2011 and each one will be based on the EVOLVE concept:
An enduring quest for knowledge, best practice and outcomes for EA members, affiliates and the broader equestrian community.
