Emile Faurie, a member of the record breaking gold medal winning English team at this year’s European Dressage Championships will attend next year’s PSI Dressage & Jumping with the Stars as the international dressage “star”. Emile’s international career has spanned almost two decades, representing Great Britian at European and World Championships and at two Olympic Games.  Career highlights include an individual bronze and team silver in the 1993 European Championships, team bronze at the 2003 Europeans and of course, this year’s team gold medal.

Emile is also a British Dressage judge and coach of the National Start and Potential squad.  He is highly regarded as a Young Horse judge, having judged the finals four years in a row at the UK Young Horse Championships and also the finals of the Dutch Young Horse Championships in 2009.   As a competitor he has the enviable record of having twice won the 4yo and 5yo Championships at the UK Young Horse Championships with the same horse, one of which (Wild at Heart) went onto a top 10 placing at the World Young Horse Championships.

At DJWTS, Emile will be guest riding the young horse finalists in each age group and  presenting the Saddleworld Dressage Masterclass.  The audience can look forward to an informative and entertaining masterclass from an internationally successful rider who has himself trained with some of Europe’s legendary trainers.
Exciting news for jumping riders and fans with the announcement that Greg Best will be returning as the jumping guest “star”, making it two years in a row!

Event Director, Bryony Guisti comments:  “There was such overwhelmingly positive feedback about Greg’s contribution to this year’s event, that we decided there was simply no other option than to bring him back again for 2012.”

Now based in New Zealand, Greg Best won individual and team silver for the United States at the 1988 Seoul Olympics riding the legendary “Gem Twist”.

In recent years he has primarily concentrated on coaching and his expertise and enthusiasm greatly impressed both competitors and spectators at this year’s PSI Dressage & Jumping with the Stars. We anticipate a capacity crowd for his Saddleworld Jumping Masterclass!

In other news, Performance Sales International (PSI) have recently confirmed their association with Dressage & Jumping with the Stars by extending their sponsorship commitment for a further ten years.  Spectators can look forward to seeing Dr Ulf Moller, who has become a crowd favourite, in action at the event for years to come !
PSI Dressage & Jumping with the Stars will be held at the Werribee Park National Equestrian Centre from March 22 – 24, 2012. Tickets go on sale December 12.
