Stella McCartney's New Store Features Crystal Horse

The crystal horse's name is Lucky Spot, and it's made out of 8,000 Swarovski crystals that hang from the ceiling with string.

For the opening of her new store in Las Vegas, McCartney had the installation flown in from England, where it was on loan at Belsay Castle in Northumberland.

The piece was commissioned in 2004 by McCartney's late mother, Linda, and named after her favorite horse. Linda McCartney was a great admirer of Appaloosa horses and owned several of this colourful breed throughout her life.
