The NSW Arabian Horse Association hosted the 25th East Coast Arabian Championships 9-11 February at SIEC. Despite mother nature not being on their side the show was a success and Association President, Donna Leak, who is always keen to look on the bright side said, "at least it wasn't hot!"

There were four judges for this prestigious event including international judge Joseph Polo (USA) and Australian judges Dale Plumb (VIC), Karen Fletcher-Grieve (WA) adn Anne McClelland (NSW). Donna said, "The judges were wonderful and said they enjoyed the show very much and would love to be invited back again."

As this was a special 25th anniversary show, it was wonderful to see that all rings ran well and most competitors seemed to be happy and having a great time!

Donna and the Association were extremely pleased with the show, saying, "Finals night was a spectacular event. The indoor arena looked amazing. It was great to have the tables back down on the arena again. Thanks to the hard working committee and a few helpers and thanks so much to Paul, Mark, Mel and their friends, we would not have finished setting the indoor up for finals night in time if not for you all. Thank you also to all the sponsors, judges, photographers, and competitors for a fantastic East Coast!"
