Robynne McTaggart, owner of Noblewood Park Stud, has been breeding quality Warmbloods since 1991 and is understandably very proud of the outstanding horses she has bred in the past 20 years. After all, Noblewood Park has realised Robynne's vision of producing more top level competition sporthorses than almost any other stud in Australia.
Founded on imported Holsteiner lines, Noblewood has produced showjumpers performing at world cup level from more than 30 imported mares and stallions. Proving its successful breeding formula, Noblewood horses have been on National Australian elite squads, as well as shortlisted for Olympic and World Equestrian Games. Although formally established in 1991, Robynne started importing horses from Europe a year earlier, bringing a number of foundation mares from Germany's Verband in 1990 and, later, Jadalco and Collins, two stallions who have since had a significant impact on Australian showjumping bloodlines; many of their progeny are highly sought-after, while others are top performers today not only in Australia, but ironically also in Europe.
Having owned and managed one of the most successful showjumping teams in Australia, Robynne has had horses shortlisted for the Olympics Games and World Equestrian Games and on the National Elite Squads. Having never been a rider she is nonetheless passionate about her wonderful horses and equestrian sport in Australia. Her dream is to have a Noblewood horse at the Olympics or World Equestrian Games. Today, she no longer runs a team of horses and riders but still has a number of horses with Vicki Roycroft and Jamie and Sue Coman.
Now is your chance to own a legendary Noblewood horse! Ten Noblewood horses, for sale by tender, are now available for your consideration and the wide selection of quality horses available is truly impressive. The tender closes on 31 August 2011. (see links below)
When asked about the horses for sale, Robynne says, "almost without exception, the successful jumping horses around the world have Holsteiner blood in their pedigree - that is because Holstein horses are considered the best jumping horses in the world. All our horses can jump - it is really a matter of finding the one that you fall in love with. This is a great opportunity to purchase a purpose bred jumping horse from our 2011 Premium List. So that you can be fully assured of the soundness of the horses on offer, xrays and a vet check have been carried out for each horse (with the exception of broodmares) at Belmont Horse Hospital. Should you wish to have your own vet check completed, you are more than welcome to do so."
