Subzero Celebrating His 23rd Birthday at National Sports Museum

To celebrate the official horses' birthday for the southern hemisphere, the National Sports Museum in Melbourne is throwing legendary racehorse, Subzero, a special birthday party.

Visitors will be able to meet and pat Subzero and the horse’s handlers will talk with visitors about Subzero’s career and answer questions. 

Be sure to come along, meet Subzero and sing happy 23rd birthday to the Melbourne Cup champion! 

Subzero will be arriving at approximately at 11.15am today to start the celebrations and will be staying until 1.00pm.

After meeting this racing great, visitors can explore the National Sports Museum, including the Champions Racing Gallery, displaying some of the most beautiful and important Australian racing treasures.
