It was a great autumn day at Sydney Showjumping Club Competition today. Event coordinator Karinda Alpert said, “It was a wonderful day and we had lots of great jumping from over 290 entries.”
Courses were designed by The Jumpmaker, Robert Howarth with judges being Denise Looveer, Juho Looveer and Joyce Brook.
Congratulations to young Savannah Hopkinson who won two classes in the main arena on her beautiful imported mareBP Darcey. Savannah has recently moved to Sydney from Melbourne and trains with George Sanna at Chatham Park.
Anna Hill who trains at Oakville Equestrian Centre won two classes and Billy Kinder on the adorable Regents Park Legend won two junior classes.
Andrew Inglis, who must be the hardest working rider at any competition, won three classes and was placed in several more.
It was great to see the EA’s High Performance Manger for Showjumping, Annie Lever as a guest at the grounds today hopefully surveying some High Performers of the future.
Photographers from GeoSnapShot were on site to photograph competitors and photographs can be purchased from www.GeoSnapShot.com.au.
SSJC resumes on Sunday 1 June and entries close on Friday 30th May at 9pm and competitors should check www.globalentriesonline.com.aufor details.
