Sydney Showjumping Club MID YEAR CHAMPIONSHIPS: 15-16 June - Results & Photos

It was an amazing weekend of Showjumping at the Sydney Showjumping Club’s Mid-Year Championships at Clarendon on 15-16 June.  This was the first year the Mid Years have been run as a two day show and there were large entries in all four rings. 

The arenas were in great condition despite the rain we experienced mid-week, and with all the new equipment the grounds looked fantastic.

Course designers were Mark Atkins, David Sheppard, and Sue Bettington.

Day two of the competition featured the Sydney Mid-Year Amateur, Junior, Intermediate, Young Rider, Mini Prix and Grand Prix Championships.

Competitors came from all over NSW with Samantha Macintosh and Ross Smith from New Zealand competing and giving the weekend an international flavour.

Ross Smith was very impressed with the SSJC facilities and said “I am amazed at the grounds and equipment here  and the brilliant organisation of the competition over the two days”.

Sydney Showjumping Club continues now with training days and competition days each month right up until the final End of Year Championships on the weekend of the 30 November and 1 December.
