Talent Abound at PSI Jumping with the Stars

Published on Thursday, March 22, 2012 in General

Consistency would be the word to use when casting your eyes over the results from the first day of competition for the Young Horse Jumping Classes at Dressage and Jumping with the Stars 2012. The same breeds and horses continue to be in the winners' circle and impress Greg Best.

Stallion, Vengence has won the four-year-old class on the opening day. His sire Copabella Visage is a previous winner of the Champion of Champions at Dressage and Jumping with the Stars. This particular bloodline continues to produce high results, this particular horse was bred by Mick Price.

Ally Lamb has won the five-year-old class today on Diamond B Corsica. This particular mount won the four-year-old Championship last year, and shows promise for 2012. We asked Best if he was aware that he awarded the same horse, his comments “I hate to go in pre-judging but obviously I really liked the horse last year and I was excited to see it again. Ally Lamb does a great job, the horse is not only a year older, but a year better”.

Equus Echo ridden by Jessica Brown has made the first impression for the six-year-old jumpers. Bloomfield “it had great technique which you couldn’t fault and the horse was consistently careful. The horse is the real deal and will improve with time”. Olympian, Laurie Lever also continues to ride with success coming off second best with French Twist.
