Tamworth High School Support Unit - ABCRA Cowboy Day

Published on Wednesday, December 12, 2012 in General

With the ABCRA National Finals just around the corner 29 Tamworth High School support unit  students are getting a first hand taste of the action.

Tamworth High School support unit students will not only get to meet some of Australia’s elite in the business but they will receive instruction and inspiration from some of the stars of the sport before they catch them in action at this year’s National Finals in January.  The students will also get the chance to have a hands on lesson from the best in the business.

Sue Warden, Tamworth High Schools job coach said ‘the children are really excited about the experience.  This is all part of the personal development course running through the last two weeks of the school term.  This particular part is focused on addressing self confidence, self esteem, broadening horizons, new experiences and developing extra life skills’.  Thursday the 13th at 2.00pm will see the children kick into action at Greg Townsends property 24 Harrier Pde, Tamworth.  Greg is one of the master minds behind the ABCRA National Finals Build A Cowboy programme.
