In the lead up to the Melbourne Cup not everyone is obsessed with planning their trip to track or buying a race day hat - in South East Queensland you'll find a huge crowd of people wearing a very different kind of hat!

Approximately 30,000 spectators will crowd into the Warwick showground one week before the Melbourne Cup to watch Australia’s second biggest horse sport, campdrafting, which culminates with the prestigious final of the The Warwick Gold Cup.

Film-makers Ian Withnall and Sharen Kenny from Palatine Productions spent more than two years on the circuit and are believed to be the first to capture the sport and the characters behind it in a documentary format.

Palatine Productions, will launch a special edition director's cut DVD of the film at 7pm, Wednesday, 24 October, at the Warwick Showgrounds.
