'The Hobbit' Casting Call for Elven Horse Riders
Following the massive success of the 'Lord of the Ring's trilogy, award winning Director Peter Jackson, is finally making the movie prequel 'The Hobbit'. Jackson and and his crew are now seeking out local New Zealand extras, especially Elven Horse Riders for 'The Hobbit'.
If you are a tall and slender New Zealander and fancy yourself as the next Orlando Bloom, or maybe you are just happy to be in the background riding into battle against Middle Earth's forces of evil, check out the official 'The Hobbit' casting call for Elven Horse Riders and Elven extras:

OFFICIAL The Hobbit - ELF EXTRAS CALL
The production of The Hobbit film is currently looking for people to play ELVEN HORSE RIDERS and ELVEN EXTRAS.
The Elven physical build is tall and slender.
MEN - aged 17 - 40
Height 6ft (183cm) and taller
WOMEN - aged 17 - 40
Height 5ft 9 (175cm) and taller
If you have already been seen at a casting call there is no need to re-apply as you will be on file.
If you cannot attend the casting call and fit the Elven requirements please email us via the 'Apply online' button and we will send out an application form (please note we do not require CVs or cover letters).
DATE: Saturday February 26 2011
TIMES: 9.30 - 12pm AND 1.30 - 3pm
LOCATION: Te Whaea - National Dance and Drama Centre, 11 Hutchinson Rd, Newtown, Wellington.
If you do NOT fit into these height ranges please do not apply. Please expect a wait depending on numbers.
There will be casting calls in other cities as required.
Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work permit.
