Published on Friday, June 17, 2011 in Feature Horses

Looking for a fantastic new horse? Whatever your discipline we've got you covered - check out some of the wonderful horses listed on Horsezone that you could take home and win on right away:

WAIKIWI FE – Champion Dressage Mare

Specifics:

11 year old, 16.1hh, black Warmblood mare (by Weltmeyer - her Grandmother was Silver Fern who won in Australia at Grand Prix level)

Why she's on the A-list:

Waikiwi FE is New Zealand's most successful PSG/Inter 1, having won the NZ Advanced Horse of the Year three times and is the current National PSG/Inter 1 Champion for 2011.

She has an incredible extended trot, exceptionally expressive and straight flying changes, up to 15 ones.  She is doing all Grand Prix movements and has competed at Inter 11 level, twice scoring 66%.

AMARAH PARC TIVOLI – Grand Nationals Qualified for 2012

Specifics:

7 year old, 12.1hh, bay Welsh B, SHC, Saddle Pony gelding.

Why he's on the A-list:

Tivi is an outstanding pony, who has qualified to compete at the Grand Nationals in 09/11/12 and he does it with ease.  He has had limited show outings due to no small riders, however, when taken to a show he always comes home with a Champion and usually Supreme Hunter of the Show.  Tivi loves children and jumping. He's training medium dressage (and will be competing dressage in the near future). He has been to pony club and is not only a stunning show pony, he is also a versatile all round pony and would be an asset to any home looking for a quality pony. (photo: Narelle Wockner)

WINDERADEEN IMASMARTCHICK – Perfect Western All Rounder

Specifics:

6 year old, 14.2hh, black bay Quarter Horse mare (Smart Little Scotty x Winderadeen Pepperchick)

Why she's on the A-list:

This beautiful mare has a huge hip and butt, is quiet and has done all western events with many wins for Open and Youth rider. She's great at trail, pleasure, pattern events and has done it all.  She's been used to teach children and learner adults to lead change, spin and run circles. She won National Youth Champion reiner in addition to many other wins. This mare can easily stop, turn, spin, lead change and even cut a cow and she's in show condition all the time. Will make a great youth or non-pro horse, or could be used for breeding, with her excellent bloodlines.

DIAMON J RUSTY – Junior/Young Rider Showjumper

Specifics:

11 year old, 16.3hh, chestnut Warmblood/Quarter Horse/Thoroughbred gelding

Why he's on the A-list:

Diamon J Rusty would make a fantastic junior or young rider horse and has plenty of potential.  He is C grade EFA and A/B Pony Club. He is jumping 120cm with ease and will easily go higher. Easy to ride, shoe and float.  He is ridden in a snaffle bit and has good flat work. Rider has change disciplines and is no longer jumping - Rusty needs to go to a family that will take him jumping again!

CONTENDA - Young Eventing, Dressage, Showjumping mare

Specifics:

4 year old, 15.3hh, chestnut Warmblood mare (Contender IMP x a Maroomba Who mare)

Why she's on the A-list:

Contenda carries top quality German bloodlines including Contender for jumping and Bolero for dressage talent.  Excellent paces, amazing jumping ability and trainable temperament have surely been passed onto this mare. She scored 64.80% at her first dressage competition and has been jumping 1m courses at jump clubs with careful scopey jumps. She has been cross country schooled, bravely jumping ditch and water jumps. She is currently in work with professional.
