Tickets for the 2012 PSI Dressage and Jumping with the Stars (March 22 - 25) are now on sale and will make the perfect Christmas present this year! Held at the Werribee Park National Equestrian Centre, PSI DJWTS promises three full days of exciting dressage and jumping competitions, inspiring Masterclasses, trade village shopping and a Stallion Showcase.

Whilst the Australian Young Dressage Horse and Pony Championships are a feature event, there’s also a CDI-W Grand Prix/Grand Prix Freestyle, and the Prix St Georges Cup for dressage fans. Changes have been made to the jumping program so the Young Jumping Horse Championships are now only for four, five and six year olds.  A “Future Stars” Championship is open to seven and eight year old horses, whilst the ACE Group “Current Stars” Championship caters for the older horses and replaces the Grand Prix.

The Saddleworld Masterclasses are a major attraction each year and 2012 will be no exception with the international guests who will be attending.   Emile Faurie, a member of the record breaking gold medal winning English team at this year’s European Dressage Championships will be presenting the Saddleworld Dressage Masterclass as well as riding some of the young horse finalists.  Emile’s international career has spanned almost two decades, representing Great Britian at European and World Championships and at two Olympic Games.  Career highlights include an individual bronze and team silver in the 1993 European Championships, team bronze at the 2003 Europeans and of course, this year’s team gold medal.

Greg Best will return as the jumping guest “star” in 2012 due to popular demand following his guest appearance at this year’s DJWTS where he delighted competitors and spectators alike with his knowledge and enthusiasm.  Now based in New Zealand, Greg Best won individual and team silver for the United States at the 1988 Seoul Olympics riding the legendary “Gem Twist”. Primarily now a coach he has also been a National Showjumping Selector, a member of the Showjumping High Performance Committee and the National Showjumping Coach, coaching the NZ team at the 2004 Athens Olympics.

Once again Gold, Silver and bronze tickets are available, offering a range of options from one day to three day passes.   New in 2012 will be the VIP Jumping Marquee from which to watch all the outdoors jumping action in comfort!

Advance ticket sales offer a reduced admission price and free car parking, and are only available from the Geelong Performing Arts Centre, phone 03 5225 1200 or follow the links on www.equestrianvictoriaevents.com.au/DJWTS.

Early ticket purchase is recommended, particularly for the gold and silver ticket packages as they were sell outs in 2011.
