Video: Trainers Discuss Black Caviar, Ming Dynasty and Other Greats!
Published on Thursday, April 21, 2011 in General
Black Caviar, is currently rated as the Best Horse in the World and few years ago she could have been yours!
Purchased as a yearling from the Inglis sales for $210,000 she is now priceless. When asked what he saw in her at that young age, trainer Peter Moody says, "I fell in love with her!" a sentiment all horse people have felt at some stage.
You could have purchased Black Caviar's half brother at this year's Inglis sale but $1million would not have been enough to get him. Who knows - maybe the next star of the track will be a horse who was a bargain as a yearling?
