Vivant Sold

Published on Monday, January 17, 2011 in General

Australian Jumping star, Vivant has been sold. Vivant was ridden by Chris Chugg at the 2010 World Equestrian Games, placed 7th at the 2010 FEI World Cup Final and was a three time Australian Jumping Champion (2007, 2008 and 2009).

Chris and Helen Chugg have released the following statement.
Vivant is in the process of being sold and will represent the Ukraine from now on.The decision was not made lightly or easily, but the home is a great one for him and we look forward to watching his career under the care of such good riders and trainers.

What a year 2010 was for Vivant and us. We had a dream run of fantastic shows and we were able to hit all our goals and fulfilled lifetime dreams. We have to thank the Klatte family, in particular Guido and Britta for their spirit, help, generosity and expertise. The show secretaries and directors, who were endlessly helpful to us, and the crowds who took Vivant into their hearts.

We are very proud of our Australian produced horse and know his successes have given all the riders at home a great boost.

But for us, our home is in Australia, and we now look forward to returning and continuing to produce Vivant's progeny, the new goal is to bring his kids back to Europe and the USA to play in the big time! Thanks to everyone who supported us and cheered us on in our 'great adventure'.

Helen and Chris Chugg
