Star Thoroughbreds' Theseo is a five-time Group 1 winning proven weight-for-age star with over $3 million to his credit, while emerging wonder-mare More Joyous will be looking for her eighth win to crack the million dollar make in the mile feature. The race is a key lead-up event to the the main aim for both elite equine athletes, the Group 1 Cox Plate (2040m) on 23 October.

This is a race with all the attributes of a great one, a clash of the titans. It's superiror male versus superior female, Group 1 winning miler versus Group 1 winning miler, war-horse versus a queen, toughness versus brilliance, Nash Rawiller versus Corey Brown.
