Wild Fire to be Huge Attraction at this Year's ABCRA National Finals

Published on Thursday, January 10, 2013 in General

It’s that time of year again and the Australian Bushmen’s Campdraft Rodeo Association National Finals is just around the corner and it’s gearing up to be the biggest and best Finals yet. With loads of non-stop Rodeo and Campdraft action along with the many special guest appearances by some of your favourite performers including Ashlee Esposito, Amber Lawrence, Shandell Tosoni, Larry Cann and Gord Bamford as well as Kym Hagon’s Horse Show, entertainment is guaranteed.

Not stopping there, this year there will also be a big screen to capture all of your favourite rodeo moments in both the junior and senior Rodeos. Adding to the jam packed entertainment schedule is professional comedy clown ‘Al Wilson’ who will have you laughing non-stop throughout the entire event and making a special appearance for the first time in National Finals History is ‘Wildfire’ the purebred
Brahman Bull.

10 year old Wildfire has become a National superstar attracting the attention of thousands of people over the last two years and you certainly can’t blame them as this purebred Brahman Bull is pretty hard to resist. Taking a liking to his fame and his career in the entertainment business, Wildfire is a born natural at capturing the hearts of many, and his fans just can’t get enough of him. Owner Jamie‘s affection for Wildfire is obvious and he isn’t afraid to share just how much Wildfire means to him and his family stating ‘he’s one in a million, he’ll be here with us for many years to come.’

Wildfire has such a remarkable personality and Jamie says ‘he actually thinks he’s a human, he gets treated like one. At home he eats watermelons and toffee apples and he’s even walked into the house and stood in our lounge room.’

Not to forget, are the two charity nights that will be held during the finals. On Saturday night, 19 January, the Junior Finals will see a ‘sea of yellow’ in support of Camp Quality with
competitors and spectators alike encouraged to dress in yellow in support of the cause. Friday night 25 January at the National Finals will be ‘tough enough to wear pink’ night, which is held in support of the Cancer Council – a theme that last year saw more than $30,000 raised.

With so much entertainment in the one place there won’t be a dull moment and you’re guaranteed to be on the edge of your seat the entire time. This will be an event not to be missed so spread the word, grab your cowboy hats and bring along your friends and family for a great night out. Don’t forget to come and meet the magnificent Wildfire, and while you’re there why not get a photo of yourself giving him a cuddle?

ABCRA National Finals Tickets are on sale and can be purchased from www.abcra.com.au or phone 02 6767 5300.
