Runaway Horse Caught by Speed Camera!
A runaway horse, who had escaped from his paddock near the busy town of Meppen in Germany, galloped along a main road and triggered a speed camera before being caught, thankfully unhurt, by his relieved owner!
Police said they were shocked to find the picture of the horse on the speed camera when they were going through the monthly fines.
A spokesman said, 'The horse was galloping at full speed for several kilometres before it could be stopped. The image was taken by a camera set to take pictures of speeding motorists and people going over the red light.'
Police believe that a car may have triggered the speed camera that also happened to catch the horse!
www.dailymail.co.uk has reported on this story and the image could be photoshopped, but it does seem to be genuine - especially when you can see the person in the car beside where he is galloping looking at the horse - although he must have had a job galloping through all those cars without getting hurt!
