Wanted! Business Proposals for Centennial Parklands Equestrian Centre

Published on Thursday, May 1, 2014 in General

The Centennial Parklands Equestrian Centre (Equestrian Centre) is currently seeking business proposals for unique opportunities which have not before been offered to the market.

Located close to the Sydney CBD, the Equestrian Centre is a world-class venue providing horse riding experiences for the public, as well as stabling and training facilities for privately owned horses.

The Request for Proposals is offering licences for businesses providing riding and/or equestrian services and business is expected to commence from 1 September 2014

The services offered could include a riding school approach at their core (for lessons and park rides) as well as other services such as pony rides, pony parties, horse grooming and show preparation. Horse care services may also be included, such as saddlery, horse care education, exercise and training and other similar complimentary options.  This list is not intended to be exhaustive or restrictive.

If you are interested in submitting a business proposal you are encouraged to ‘think outside the box’ and offer services to benefit current users of the Equestrian Centre, the general public and potential new markets, including tourism. To find out more visit the Centennial Parklands website.

The Request For Proposals (RFP) also includes the Fodder Store.  In addition to the stabling facilities and tack, feed and office rooms available to prospective businesses, interested parties may also submit proposals to use half of the existing ‘Fodder Store’ building. One half of the building has recently been licensed to the Equestrian Centre’s second livery service provider. Find out more about the Fodder Store RFP here.
