MONTE SANTO

Monte is a genuine horse who is only scratching the surface of his newfound career in eventing, after retiring from racing in 2021. After a long spell he was slowly brought on throughout 2022 at home. With 2023 being his first season of competing, he has continued to improve with every event he attends. 

He has three nice working paces, leg-yields and shoulder in are established. Monte has a big bold jump, making him a machine on cross country. Currently competing EvA 80 and showjumping 90cm, schooling 1m and 95 cross country.

Monte is a quick learner and eager to please, his absolute willingness is something that cannot be trained. He is part of the OTT program and eligible for Equimillion. Great opportunity to purchase a genuine horse to bring up through the grades.

Looking for an intermediate/experienced rider to finish his re-training. He is a sensitive horse who can be very aware of his surrounds. Due to this the warmups are still slightly overwhelming at times and needs a confident rider to guide him. Price negotiable as he is not quite where I’d like him to be in his training due to lack of time throughout the year.

For sale due to no fault of his own, rider is moving.
