Flying Congo

** was jumped a few weeks ago after basically no jumping the last 3 years and jumped 1.05m easy with plenty of room to go higher.

I have owned Congo for nearly 4 years and have mainly trained and competed dressage, currently competing prelim, training novice with wins and placings in all events we’ve competed at. With beautiful looks and movement he always gets compliments wherever he goes and definitely has the talent to go up the dressage levels as this is where I have found his talent lies. He has jumped a little at home with me but I don’t have the confidence, however he was training 1m prior to buying him with talent to go higher as well with the right rider.  I’ve also done natural horsemanship groundwork with him which he enjoys and does well with and picks everything up quickly. He has done plenty of trail rides with me and absolutely loves it and is used to all things farm life.

He is good to handle, shoe, vet work, also the first to run down the paddock to meet you and loves a cuddle.

Due to time restraints with work, weather and covid since owning him comps have been limited but all results are below.

Congo can be funny to load onto the float but once on travels well and unloads fine so due to this needs a confident and experienced rider/handler and it shouldn’t be too much of an issue.

Congo does best in consistent work and thrives off having a job to do. He is a big, strong horse so needs a confident and experienced rider to bring out the best in him. He is for sale due to a change in rider direction and work time restraints. I absolutely love this horse but feel he needs a more experienced rider so only want the best home for him I am in no rush to sell him and are negotiable on his price if the right home is available.
