Joey finished racing in Jan 2021 completely sound. Cosmetic scar on hind leg, does not affect him in any way.
He is an absolute pleasure to handle in every way. With his kind and willing temperament, Joey is very trainable. Soft snaffle mouth. No vices. Easy keeper. He is in lovely, dappled condition.
Joey has been brought along slowly with groundwork and under saddle. He is soft under saddle and overall well-mannered. His canter is still green but is smooth and reasonably well balanced.
Having been exposed to many different things on the farm, nothing fazes him. He is happy being ridden out alone or in company.
He would make an enjoyable project.
