Very sad decision to find a new home for Macca. His rider, who is a novice/intermediate rider wants to pursue the western disipline whereas we feel Macca is more suited for low level pony club or trail riding. He is a 16hh thoroughbred gelding, he is a young 18 yr old, and a great schoolmaster type who would be best suited to either a confident experienced junior rider wanting a pony club mount or even an experienced adult rider wanting a horse for low level competition. Or even a rider who wanted a horse for trail riding he would be very suited for. He has a beautiful temperament and LOVES attention. Has more woah than go but will get going if you ask him to. Easy to catch, he will catch you, he loves trail rides, through the bush and loves the beach. He is good out on his own and with company. He has been to pony club with his previous rider and has jumped up to approx 70-80cm. He has also done some barrel racing with previous rider. His current rider has not done a lot of jumping with him over the last three years and has mainly done arena work and trail riding around the farm. He has three lovely paces with a beautiful trot and big slow canter.
He is sound, great to float, shoe, worm, catch, loves a hose down. He is a typical thoroughbred who does require hard feeding.
He is a really lovely horse and with the right rider will have a lot of fun together.
He is currently in light work.
He does require a confident intermediate/experienced rider to get the best out of him.
He will only go to the best of homes.
