I’ve been putting this off for quite some time now but I can’t let so much potential go to waste in the paddock any longer. This beautiful mare is only for sale due to riders declining health.

Chelsea is a 6yo approx 16hh OTTB. Chelsea has spent most of her time since retiring from racing at Pony Club and on trail rides. She has done small jump courses, been exposed to mounted games & sporting equipment, obstacle courses, and swimming in the dam.

Chelsea has 1 competition under her belt, she competed in the Prep dressage at the 2023 Thoroughbred Spring Fair with a score of 63%.

When she was last in work (late 2023-early 2024) she had been training some lateral movements at home and had been picking it up very well. She picks up a nice soft contact, has fantastic brakes and is more than happy to ride around on the buckle.

I’m very upset that I didn’t get the chance to take her any further but I believe in the right hands she will become a fantastic allrounder. She’d be a really great project for someone who’d like to get into the next stages of training. She’s got great basics, is a fast and willing learner and shows a great amount of potential in any discipline.

She would be best suited to a confident & knowledgeable intermediate or experienced rider to bring out her full potential. She will be sold in out of work paddock condition.

Easy to handle, great for the farrier, good floater. Generally a really easy going and sweet natured horse.
