Peaches aka Briar Bonita is a 9yo, 17hh buckskin mare by Byalee Briar out of Byalee Maeve.

Peaches is a really eye-catching, athletic type. With her incredible golden coat which is truly the most spectacular shade of buckskin l've ever seen, she is sure to attract attention wherever she goes. She works easily in an attractive outline and has a very serious wow factor when you watch her work. She has an elegant front end, and 3 fabulous paces with an especially expressive canter. On the flat, peaches is generally forward moving. She mostly maintains an independent rhythm as long as you check in with effective half-halts. She is relatively supple both ways and great over the back. She is steady in the hand, but can become a little strong at times but responds well to half-halts. She is working at around a novice level with basic laterals established and genuine potential to progress in this area if this is your focus. Although, Peaches is a versatile mount and shows potential in all disciplines, her preference is jumping. She is bold, careful and an absolute natural. She has enormous ground cover, and scope to burn. She has a jumpers canter through and through, and you only have to sit on that to feel the potential she has to make a top level jumper /eventer with further education. Peaches is truly a pleasure to have around. She loves being stabled, but is happy paddocked on in our day yards. She is affectionate with people and genuinely likes attention. She has always been good to catch, worm, tack up, trim/shoe etc. Peaches is better on a "cooler" diet as she can get a little excitable with "hot feed" but is a very good doer. She has no known history of soundness issues, but can be sensitive to bug bites so is best rugged full time. Peaches was lightly broken in at 4yo and commenced full training at 7yo. Since then she has progressed with a solid well-rounded basic foundation in all olympic disciplines. She has been trained consistently by a professional rider, and also a teenager so had a correct start but also the wonderful exposure that comes with a teenager rider! Peaches is a really sweet mare with a so much to give his next rider. Although she hasn't competed, she has an array of experiences under her belt, and a great attitude towards her training. We feel he would be best suited to an ambitious intermediate plus rider who wants to work closely with a trainer to produce an elite level performance horse in their chosen discipline. She really does love to jump, so we would ideally like to see her in a home where this talent can be further explored. She responds best to consistent work, and is only for sale as her current owner shows, and she feels she is better in an equestrian discipline where she has more varied work and stimulation. This horse presents a rare opportunity to obtain a super high quality performance prospect, who is drop dead gorgeous with a great foundation of training to build upon.
