Midnight, or "Bob" Bowkett Park Bob, is a very friendly, black 13.3hh, 9yo, DOB 14/10/14 reg WPCS and Microchipped Welsh cob x Riding Pony gelding with perfect conformation. Bob has great movement, good basic education, great breaks, and is a real show-stopper. He sits exquisitely still (naturally) in the bridle too, which is really nice. He is very trainable and learns any lessons well. You can have the dog run up behind you flat out, or sweep under his legs with the broom, he just goes about his business. Bob was broken in professionally as a 3yo, for our young family with a teenage girl and a 5yo boy. He has had short sessions with adult riders during his ridden life as well. He has been led around for led riders on trail rides and children's parties. Due to family circumstances and kids losing interest in horses, Midnight is now for sale; He is too good of a pony to just sit in the paddock being wasted. Bob has not done much over these past 2 years, mainly just trail riding from time to time, (ridden along a country highway into town at times) riding around on the farm at home, around country lanes, and been swimming in the lake. Recently he has also been used for stock work around the farm, only sheep at this stage but we will put him around the cattle as well. This boy has proven to have no vice either under saddle or on the ground. Recently walked straight on the float after 3 years of not going anywhere, so we are sure he will be no issue for anyone to load. Even after a spell (this last time it was over 12 months and he walked off like it had been the day before), he has no problems. He catches us and walks up as soon as he sees us coming. He has done a little bit of jumping at home and seems to really enjoy that. We realize he is still relatively green in some areas, however, this is a very honest pony that has had a great start. Recently been used for lessons for a 7yo total beginner and he is happy to just go at the level of the rider, plodding around. He will be used for a Pony Club camp this weekend. 100% sound, vet check welcome. Owners have ensured that Bob has never foundered, which they feel is very important. Hooves, teeth, drench and Chiro have only recently been done. He is currently in work, with friends that have the time!!!!
