The Sportaloosa is a unique modern spotted sport horse bred to be user friendly and competitive in the Olympic disciplines of jumping, dressage and eventing as well as cattle classes, reining, rodeo and endurance. This horse commonly stands between 15.2-16.2hh and combines free effortless paces with a sensible, trainable mind. A keen headed horse with a good length of rein set high on prominent withers, medium length back and deep heart girth. The chief qualities are soundness, versatility, friendly nature and comfortable paces for whatever sport you choose to compete in. The Sportaloosa can get his spots from the Appaloosa or Knabstrupper and can be outcrossed to Warmblood, Thoroughbred, Arabian, Andalusian, Lusitano, Friesian, Lippizaner, Stock Horse or Quarter Horse breeds.
