Holly Johnson Does the Double at NPHA - Watch Videos from today!

Published on Sunday, May 27, 2012 in Sponsored Shows

The NPHA Pleasure Celebration is all over for another year with a top quality show being run again - a credit to organisers and competitors. This show just keeps getting better and except for slightly freezing weather (I am a Queenslander) it's been a wonderful event.

The show culminated in the prestigious Di Candilo $10,000 Three Year Old Western Pleasure, which showcased some top horses and was won by the gorgeous imported stallion Smoochin, ridden by Holly Johnson, who also won the Jayes Park $20,000 Two Year Old Western Pleasure, on Gracefull Prophecy, last night. Holly, Carolyn, Kane and all the Team at Rockin Horse Ranch certainly had a fantastic show!

Results:

1st Smoochin

2nd W'deen Ceeilikithot

3rd Futera Somethin Else

4th Bruce Almighty

5th GJC Simply Hot

6th Stillwaterswatsurpleasure

7th W'deen Sumhotpeppy

8th YLS Custom Maid

9th W'deen One Hot Blaze

There were several other Western Pleasure finals held today, including the Ranchmans Saddlery $4,000 Junior Horse Western Pleasure Derby, which was won by GJC Dropit Like Its Hot, ridden by Kristy Mobberley and the Vet-N-Pet Direct $4,000 Senior Horse Western Pleasure Stakes, which was once again won by Kristy, riding the versatile big RQH Doing It In Style gelding, RQH Who's Ur Daddy (pictured). The Triandibo Quarter Horses $1,000 Amateur Western Pleasure Stakes was also held with some lovely horses and totally gorgeous bling show tops on many riders! This was won by Emmi Hoefchen riding her lovely imported stallion Assessment.

The judges spoke after the show had concluded and all commented on how the quality of our horses, the depth of good horses, their presentation and our professionalism is second to none. According to the three USA judges, Australia are right up there with the best in terms of western horses, which is a fantastic compliment to all the people in the industry, who work so hard to breed, train and show  western horses to the highest standard possible!
