NPHA Pleasure Celebration Show Kicks Off Today

Australia's most prestigious western show, the NPHA Pleasure Celebration, started today at SIEC and will run through until Sunday 27 May, culminating with the highly anticipated final of the Three Year old Western Pleasure. The program features all western performance events for open, amateur and youth competitors and will showcase some of the best Quarter Horses, Paints and Appaloosas in the country. Classes include Halter, Showmanship, Hunter Under Saddle, Hunt Seat Equitation, Western Pleasure, Western Horsemanship, Western Riding and Reining.... The 2012 Bates Saddles Eventing Equestriad will be held on 26-27 May at Camden Bicentennial Equestrian Park and will be bigger and better than ever! Classes will start with Junior Newcomers and run through to the 3*** classes. There will also be the London Luncheon on Sunday where you can enjoy front row action with the 3*** cross country and showjumping, whilst enjoying a banquet lunch and wine.... The 2012 Queensland Arabian Challenge Show was held 18-20 May, with over 200 gorgeous horses and their handlers taking advantage of the great QSEC facilities and perfect weather. Organiser Yvonne Barlow was very happy, saying, "It was a fantastic show with lots of energy, beautiful horses and heaps of fun for all! We've had plenty of positive feedback and are thrilled."... From 18-20 May Arabian horses will invade the Qld State Equestrian Centre (QSEC) for their prestigious 2012 Qld Challenge Event. The 13th Annual Snowy Mountains Grammar School Interschools Equestrian Competition was held on Friday 4–6 May at Dalgety Showground. This year 130 riders from years Kinder to 12 made the journey to the quant location and enjoyed three days of wonderful competition, participating in dressage, showjumping, riding and hacking events, sporting and the 4-part Stockmans Challenge competition. ...
