Raced as Irish Saturday, Declan is a very quiet and sweet OTT gelding standing at approximately 15.2hh.

Taken home by myself after last racing in 2016 as he was always a favourite. Unfortunately due to work and other horses he hasn’t had the time and attention he deserves.

Declan is a kind and honest horse that will only be sold to an appropriate home. Since being mine, I have bought him into work several times and he’s always been very easy. No buck, rear, bolt or spook. He has a snaffle mouth and is well educated with the basics under saddle. He is not matey and is happy to be taken away from his friends to be tied up and worked. He has been taken to indoor arenas and new places and always handled himself in the same easy manner.

Currently up till date with worming, farrier etc. I’m happy to answer any more questions. Please note this horse is currently out of work and has not had much consistent training after his racing career. Declan was last ridden in Feb. He has not been jumped. I feel he would best be suited to adult riding, showing or someone wanting a trail riding mount.
