Goldie is a 12yo QH x Palomino mare 14.2hh. She is unregistered. Friendly, quiet, with a compliant attitude, never difficult to catch, even if she is in with other horses she will still come up to you. She has a relaxed gait under saddle, so she could probably be allowed to get a bit lazy if you let her. She seems to enjoy a bit of jumping, we have only jumped her over x-country jumps, but she would do a low-level jump course no worries at all. Good for trail riding and stock work around the farm which she loves to do, she has also done dressage comps and a few local Ag shows. Happy to have the dogs run up to her, nothing much seems to worry her. For the last few years she has been used by a lady to get confidence back at dressage competitions, clinics and lady’s camps. Goldie’s current owner has had a few years off after having children. Goldie was purchased specifically to get her confidence back and Goldie has filled this role well and the owner has moved onto a more competitive mount. Goldie has also been used for child riders around the property. Goldie floats really well and there are no issues loading. You can also throw the rug on her however roughly you like and she will stand like a statue until you are done doing up all the straps and clips. No vices under saddle or on the ground, fine if on her own or with other horses. Loves company even if it is a human, we had a young girl over the last school holidays grooming Goldie every day, to get out the winter hair. Goldie stood there, very patiently, every day for this little girl to get some hands-on time with horses. Goldie would suit many applications, Pony Club, Trial riding, farm work etc. She is probably best doing a variety of things, rather than just dressage!!! Currently rugged and stabled at night, so is looking a picture. Someone looking for a little pleasure horse should consider this little mare. Goldie would also make a good family horse as she is happy to plod around even on the buckle. Teeth, farrier and chiro all recently attended to, 100% sound, vet check welcome.
