9yo Thoroughbred Gelding

Archie is a 9-year-old approx 16.1hh Thoroughbred gelding who finished racing in 2022. I took him on to rehome due to his owner’s illness and she loved him dearly so wanted to make sure he had his best shot at finding his next loving home. Archie has been based in Victoria since retiring from racing and has been used for trail riding and low level flatwork lessons before spending some time in the paddock after his owner fell ill. I have only had him up here in QLD for the past couple of weeks bringing him back into work and doing a small amount of jumping and cross country training with him as seen in the videos.

I already have a team of horses to keep in work and university starting at the end of next month so I need to find him his next adventure before I move down to Brisbane and start studying.

As he hasn’t done a huge amount he would suit someone looking for a project or a horse to bring along. Genuine reasons for sale due to no fault of his own so a good home is the priority. I’m not looking to make anything out of this sale I have just priced him to cover his transport, Teeth, Worming, and shoeing so that he was ready to rock and roll for his next person to head into the New Year with.
