Lucy is a quality, eye-catching mare ready to find her next rider to enjoy and progress with. A genuine all-rounder with a great attitude, she’s the type that brings home ribbons while still being a pleasure to handle in every way.

• Competed successfully in show jumping up to 1.15m

• Confident and experienced at clinics, interschools, and local agricultural shows

• Competed in dressage up to Novice level, with lovely paces and trainability

• Would also make a lovely show horse

Lucy has a beautiful, forward-moving way of going, a soft snaffle mouth, and is exceptionally comfortable to ride. She has three quality paces and is an enjoyable, responsive mare both on the flat and over fences.

On the ground, Lucy is an absolute sweetheart. She is easy to handle, affectionate, loves attention, and is a pleasure to have around the paddock and stable. She is currently rugged and fed by a child and has excellent day-to-day manners.

Unfortunately, Lucy and her current child rider have not formed the partnership hoped for. Lucy is best suited to an older, more established rider or an experienced older teenager with a secure leg position and confident riding style. She is an intelligent, competitive mare with a forward-thinking attitude. While she has no nasty habits, she is not suited to beginner or inexperienced riders.

Not on Mare medication or any other medical issues, sound and ready to go. Great feet, easy to catch, shoe and float.
