Bree is a beautiful little mare who has been with her owner for the last 10 years. In this time she has mainly been ridden around their property, down the road and been a led line for their kids.

Due to her family hitting the road to go travelling and leaving their property, it was decided to find her a new home.

Since being here she has been ridden on trails with and without other horses, been around the obstacles, has walked/trotted over the cavilettis and poles, has been ridden around cattle, open and closed gates off her (this is a work in progress) ridden by our 10 year old son a few times and has been exposed to all the comings and goings on a farm.

We have found her to be a forward moving mare who remains soft in the bridle. She has a high stepping trot and super comfortable canter. Moves well off the leg, and backs up easily and softly.

She is super sweet and loves attention. On a trail you can ride her at the front or at the back. She was amazing on trails with the horses she was paddocked with, one riding very closely behind her for majority of the ride and she wasn’t phased. However she did kick out at another gelding she didn’t know, who came up behind her, when in season. This was a once off, but I feel needs to be noted.

Her flatwork definitely has room for improvement but given that she is sharp and responsive, with the right rider I believe she will be a fun little horse.

I think she could be a great little all rounder, trail/farm horse. She can spin on a dime, and is very athletic so would also suit sporting or gymkhana style events. A great step up for a kid/teenager who has the ability and confidence to get the best out of her. Or a confident older rider who would like a nice trail horse. She walks along beautifully on a trail on a loose reign.

Looking to her rider for guidance and assistance at times, I will definitely say no beginners or nervous riders.

✅ Good paddocked with other horses

✅ Has displayed no vices whilst here like bite, buck, bolt or rear

✅ Has been good with intermittent work through out her life
